The One Disorder Not Hip to Admit To

Is narcissistic personality disorder, the one disorder that just isn’t hip to admit to. My name is Loren Weisman. I’m a brand communication strategist.

Proud to Share Every Disorder but One

And I see people talk about being so proud to have this disorder, this problem, whether they’re amplifying it on social media, using it as a crutch, or using it as an excuse, they’re out there highlighting, showcasing, spotlighting all these disorders but the one I haven’t seen and in some personal experience on both business and elsewhere that call someone out or identify narcissistic traits, narcissistic tendencies, narcissistic patterns, and they just. No way.

Traits They Never Seem to See

That’s not me. That, to me, strikes me so weird that there’s so many different disorders out there that people are so proud to admit to. Yet when it comes to a narcissistic personality disorder, these people, even when they’re dead to rights being showcased, casing symptoms, traits and whatnot, can never seem to see it for themselves.
