Where I Have Been

Updated August 2026.

For a stretch of time I was away from client work and the stage for health reasons. I spent it recovering. I am back now, working again and speaking again. If you tried to reach me during that period and did not hear back, that is why, and I would still like to hear from you.

The Longer Bio

My name is Loren Weisman and I am a brand communications and optics strategist. I specialize in illuminating authoritative intelligence and amplifying authentic experts.

I work with authoritative businesses and individuals to build brand and communication foundations that hold up under scrutiny. The method highlights genuine expertise rather than manufactured hype, so that real experience is what stands out.

My Approach: Strategic Blueprinting Before Marketing

The approach is rooted in building a strategic blueprint for a brand before marketing is even discussed. Clear, honest and uniform messaging and optics, along with stability and security, are the bedrock of any presence, online or off.

The full strategy covers:

  • Brand strategy and development
  • Messaging refinement and communication optimization
  • Crisis communication and optics strategy
  • Digital, media and marketing strategy alignment
  • Authentic branding for books and strategic blueprinting
  • Ethical considerations and organizational alignment

Who I Prefer to Work With

I prefer to work with developed and established experts who hold genuine authority in their field, and with people who have the knowledge and the experience but not yet the presence and reach they want. The work is building a clean, clear and concise strategy with you that aligns your messaging, your optics and your content.

I come from a place of faith, transparency, humility and honor, and I expect the same from the people I engage with.

Background

The path to strategy ran through a long career in the entertainment industry. I was part of 700+ albums as a session drummer, ghost drummer and music producer, working with major and independent labels. That taught me the ins, outs, ups and downs of a high stakes industry from the inside.

I moved into TV production and earned credits with ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS and TLC. During that stretch I gravitated toward the strategic and psychological side of production, which I went on to explore in my books, including Music Business For Dummies from John Wiley and Sons, and The Artist’s Guide to Success in the Music Business from Greenleaf Book Group.

In 2026 I released a fourth book under a pen name, on communication and on telling the true from the false in how people speak, write and present themselves.

The route from entertainment into strategy is what I bring to clients now. Communication problems in a high stakes room are the same shape whether the room is a studio, a network, or a boardroom.

What Can Be Checked From Outside This Page

Anyone can write a bio. Here is the part of it that does not depend on you taking my word for it.

That is the standard I hold other people to, so it applies here first.

Speaking and Media

As a keynote speaker I give talks on authentic messaging, marketing perceptions and audience optics. I also host the brand communications and optics podcast Wait What Really OK, where these topics get worked through at length.
