Who I work with, who I will not work with, and how the work runs. Written plainly so you can decide whether we are a fit before you spend a minute on a call.
Are we a fit?
Read this before booking anything. Who the work is for, where it will not move forward, and what stays yours to execute after we are done. Said up front so neither of us spends a call finding out. The first step is a conversation, not a contract.
Start With These
Three pages that cover who I am, what I do, and how I do it.
- About Loren Weisman, the background behind the work.
- Defining a brand communications and optics strategist, how I define the role and what I will not do.
- Interview information sheet, what I commonly comment on.
- Services and options, including the discovery and reset session most people start with.
Where I Will Not Move Forward
Saying this up front saves us both the call.
- If what you are building is not coming from authenticity, authority, love and integrity, I will not move forward.
- If you expect it all to be done for you, I cannot help you.
- If the focus is only profit at someone else’s expense, with nothing being built toward a greater good, I am not interested.
- If popularity at any cost is the goal, I am not available.
Where We Should Talk
If you are coming from an authentic place, with authority, integrity and a grounding in humility, I would be glad to talk about how we proceed.
Every project is scoped and priced to its own requirements. For larger projects, a smaller discovery starting point is preferred, so we both get a feel for how the other works before anything bigger is committed to.
Who I Work With
I work with people who are authentic, truthful, transparent, ethical, honest, accountable, humble, respectful and professional. Those traits are the ideal client. Anything less is not enough for me.
From a mom and pop operation to a larger organization, the clients, projects and products I step into need to be on a sound foundation.
I also expect trust to be built over time, walls to come down, presuppositions to be left at the door and assumptions checked at the gate. I work with strong, healthy communicators. People who ask questions as they have them.
I believe in profit at the expense of no one. When a transaction honors every side of it, everyone benefits.
What I Do, and What Is Yours
I am here to guide, assist, teach and train, and in certain cases to partner with.
I do not hold your hand. You are responsible for executing the work and following through after we are done. I will give you the best intelligence, understanding and process architecture I can. The next steps and the maintenance are yours.
Are you trying to control and guide truth or are you allowing truth to control and guide you?
Loren Weisman
My Strategic Approach
Authority, Authenticity, Accountability
I hold myself accountable to every client. I expect you to be held accountable for what is yours to find out, or to work on outside of our time together.
Distinguishing Opinions From Facts
I separate objective proven facts from substantiated opinions, every time. Too many self professed experts, coaches and consultants make empty claims with no accountability for what was said.
Reputation and Liability
Everything I share, say, teach or strategize is something I would say to anyone, and something I stake my reputation on. I stand by my words, actions and approach as though they had to hold up in a court of law.
No Time Spent on Motivation
That is not what I do. Our time goes to the statement of work we built together. I will not redirect into motivating you. I am here to educate, help, train and equip.
Communication Is the Whole Job
I look for people I can communicate with easily. The best communication produces the best results.
Coming From Love, Not Fear
I look for people who can take critique, criticism and hard objective truths. I am here to resolve, renew, reset, rebuild or create with a client. If the walls come down, and it is understood that the corrections come from a place of care, the work goes better.
Individualized, Not Templated
Plans are built for the client. A template may fit in certain places, but a larger plan is built for you, not downloaded and relabeled.
The Next Step
The first step is a conversation, not a contract. If you are weighing advice you have already been given, that is what a discovery and reset session is for. A second set of eyes, ears and ideas on what you are being told by others.
